UN: Israel Illegal Settlement Activities Continue at High Rate — Genocide & Ethnic Cleansing of Palestinians

Israel is said to have continued its settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territories at a high rate. That’s according to the UN special envoy for the Middle East. Mladenov said Tel Aviv’s settlement constructions have increased 30 percent compared to last year. He added that Israel had also destroyed some 345 buildings and displaced more than 500 Palestinians. According to the U-N diplomat, the settlement expansion will make a two-state solution unattainable. Israel has stepped up its settlement activities despite a U-N Security Council resolution demanding it to completely halt such constructions. Israeli settlements in the occupied territories are illegal under international law.
