Human Rights Watch says Saudi warplanes have destroyed a number of factories, commercial warehouses and power plants. According to the group’s detailed report, around 130 Yemeni civilians have been killed and many more injured in attacks targeting such places. The airstrikes have also forced some 25-hundred people out of work. International bodies including the United Nations have repeatedly sounded the alarm about a snowballing humanitarian crisis in Yemen. More than 20 million Yemenis are in dire need of aid as they’re living under an air and naval blockade imposed by Saudi Arabia. The military aggression which began in March last year, has caused acute shortages of food, medicine, and other essential goods.
