Saudi Arabia has helped spread one of the most radical fundamentalist aspects of Sunni Islam, Wahhabism, all over the world. The ideology rejects any kind of modern and progressive social change. So why does the US ally with countries, like Saudi Arabia, that promote this kind of radical Islam? Chris Hedges, host of ‘On Contact’, joins RT America’s Anya Parampil and explains that progressive movements around the world conflict with US geopolitical interests.
