Swedish FM: Brexit Could Lead to EU Break-Up

  Sweden’s Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom has warned that a vote by the UK to leave the European Union could lead to a complete break-up of the bloc. Wallstrom told the BBC that a possible Brexit could have a domino effect on other member states who may call for a same referendum. She added that a British vote to stay in the bloc may also prompt other member states to demand concessions or incentives. Meanwhile, a new opinion poll shows supporters of Britain’s EU membership are ahead with narrow lead. This comes a day after another survey gave the “Leave” campaign ten points ahead, underlining how contradictory polling for the June 23 referendum has been.
