Russia expresses concern over NATO’s biggest ever military exercises in Poland, amid a backdrop of rising tensions with Moscow. At a joint news conference with his Finnish counterpart, Russian Foreign minister Sergey Lavrov said Moscow is worried about the movement of NATO infrastructure towards Russia’s borders. Lavrov warned that Moscow will take adequate measures to counter NATO’s eastward expansion. The military alliance has begun 10-day exercises, involving some 31,000 troops from Poland, the US, and 17 other NATO nations.
