Barack Obama said the U-S forces will build upon what he described as the US-led coalition’s success against Daesh terrorists. The deployment brings to some 3-hundred the number of US forces currently stationed in Syria. In another part of his speech, Obama called on European countries NATO allies to do more in the fight against terrorism. The U-S president was addressing a meeting of German officials, including Chancellor Angela Merkel in Hanover as part of his trip to Germany. He aims to advance the controversial Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, known as TTIP, with Merkel during the visit.
