Syria’ Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem says terrorist groups are violating the ceasefire in the country, on the orders of Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Muallem made the remark after a meeting with UN Special Envoy for Syria, Staphan De Mistura. He added that the terrorist attacks are aimed at undermining Syria’s peace process. Muallem also said that Damascus is committed to a political solution based on an intra-Syrian dialogue and under Syrian leadership. He further noted that Damascus is ready for talks without any preconditions. De Mistura, in turn, described as crucially important the next round of talks scheduled for later this week in Geneva.
