Robert Scheer, author and Editor-in-Chief of Truthdig, joins RT America’s Anya Parampil to help break down revelations that the Defense Department will be launching a new technology advisory board to be headed by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt. Scheer contrasts Google with Apple, saying the latter “actually sells products,” whereas Google uses data-mining, targeted ads, and invasions of privacy to make “between 95 and 98 percent of its profit.”
