  Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Stol-ten-berg said that in order to de-escalate tensions more dialogue and defensive measures are needed. He also criticized Russia’s nuclear activities, saying that Moscow’s exercises of its nuclear forces are aimed at intimidating its neighbor and undermining trust and stability in Europe. Russian government has repeatedly rejected NATO’s allegations, saying their activities are purely peaceful.
