Israeli Soldiers Shoot Palestinian Teenage Girl in Occupied West Bank

  Israeli soldiers have shot and wounded a female Palestinian teenage girl in the southern occupied West Bank. Israeli officials say 16-year-old Lama al-Bakri was shot after attempting to stab Israelis. The incident happened near the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba outside the city of al-Khalil also known as Hebron. Al-Bakri has been taken to a hospital in the city of Jerusalem al-Quds with no information released about her condition. Tensions have been running high between Palestinians and Israel since the beginning of October after Israeli settlers and troops began storming the al-Aqsa Mosque. 122 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since then.
