The Russian president says Moscow had given to the US the flight plan of its bomber downed by Turkey over Syria this week. Putin made the remarks in a joint press conference with his French counterpart Francois Hollande in the Kremlin. He said Russia will continue to cooperate with the US-led coalition against Daesh terrorists in Syria. The Russian leader, however, said the cooperation will be in jeopardy if Turkey tries to repeat the downing of Russian planes. Putin also dismissed as rubbish Turkey’s claim that it would not have hit the jet if it had known it was Russian. He posed the question whether Turkey would have targeted the plane if it had belonged to the United States. Turkey claims the Russian jet was hit because it had violated Turkish air space. Russia, however, says its plane never went into Turkish airspace.
