Israeli settlers have once again stormed the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the occupied East Jerusalem al-Quds. The settlers entered the holy Islamic site, while escorted by a group of Israeli soldiers. No clashes have been reported inside the compound. Palestinians consider settlers’ frequent visits to the mosque as provocative and blame them for clashes with Israeli forces. The latest round of violence has been flaring up after Israeli settlers began desecrating the al-Aqsa Mosque on an almost daily basis. While regularly desecrating the holy site, Israeli settlers have also stepped up attacks on Palestinians and their property.
