From Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade to Trans-Atlantic Trade Treaty: Colonialism Goes Full Circle

  We’re being told that sovereignty is an “illusion” a “shibboleth”. History doesn’t repeat, but it rhymes. The destruction of Indian nations in the New World using an invading colonial power, bankrolled and controlled by giant corporations who made treaties and then broke them, is now happening to Europe. True multiculturalism in Europe is being destroyed to create a monolithic culture that can be more easily controlled by the corporations who run government. Old treaties are being broken (our Constitution, Magna Carta, etc) just as the treaties with the Indians were broken. Africans were enslaved with a Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. Now the west will be enslaved with a Trans-Atlantic Trade Agreement.
