The terrorist attacks perpetrated days ago in Paris shocked the Argentine society and the reactions did not take long to come up especially from the Muslim community which was quickly stigmatized in the mainstream media. The local Muslim leaders strongly condemned the terrorist attacks on the French magazine Charlie Hebdo and despite finding the magazine contents about prophet Mohammed a blatant offense, they raised their voice to make clear that Islamic values are totally against any kind of violence and terror.

Although many questions are still unanswered about the attacks, many western-backed media were continuously attempting to build links between the incident and the Islamic culture. Argentine Muslim leaders have fiercely condemned the terrorist attacks in Paris. And yet they’ve blasted the Western Powers for using the attacks as a pretext to continue and escalate military operations in Syria, Iraq and other Muslim countries.

The Muslim leaders also blasted the participation of representatives of Israel in the rallies. According to them they cannot claim to be against terrorism and in favor of unity when in recent months thousands of civilians were unjustifiably murdered in Palestine by the Tel Aviv regime
