Israel has once again violated a ceasefire accord with Palestinians by launching yet another attack on Gaza fishermen off the port of Rafah. Palestinian officials say two fishermen have been wounded, while four others remain missing after the Israeli navy fired on two boats. The military has confirmed the attack BUT says the boats were involved in smuggling. Israel has on numerous occasions violated the cease-fire agreement signed in August, following its 50-day war on the coastal strip. Under the deal, Tel Aviv said it would allow fishermen to sail up to six nautical miles off the coast. But repeated Israeli attacks have significantly damaged Gaza’s fishing industry.
