There’ll be peace and tranquility in the land of Israel when Israel negotiates a settlement of the conflict according to International Law.
Everybody is ready for the conflict to end except the lunatics in Tel Aviv.
Regarding Israel’s claim that Hamas was responsible for the abduction and murder of the three Israeli settlers, Finkelstein notes, the US State Department was asked two days ago, “Do you have any evidence, that Hamas was behind this?” Their response was: “As of now, we don’t have any evidence.”
What’s clear is that Prime Minister Netanyahu … is doing what Israel starkly does in order to nip any Palestinian peace offensive in the bud… Hamas formed the Unity Government with the PA on the terms put forward by the US & the EU, and the US & the EU agreed to negotiate with the Unity government, that put Netanyahu in a corner… He was going to be forced to negotiate with the Unity government, explains Norman Finkelstein.
In response to Dan Arbell’s Rocket rant, Finkelstein notes: “There have been zero casualties on the Israeli side from the so-called “barrage” of rocket attacks…what kind of war is this?”
Cross Talking with Dan Arbell, Norman Finkelstein and Mouin Rabbani. As Israel appears to be preparing for yet another assault on the Gaza Strip, what does it want to achieve?
Is the goal to completely destroy Hamas?
And should we expect Washington to stand by and watch the killing of civilians?
