NATO is suspending “all practical civilian and military cooperation” with Russia. Russia and NATO have long cooperated on issues from terrorism to allowing transport of supplies to troops in Afghanistan. This suspension of cooperation along with the announcement of NATO joint military exercises with Ukraine have many experts worried, and questioning why NATO keeps expanding eastward to Russia’s borders.
