UK on Standby to Send Fighter Jets to Gulf, Closer to Iran!

• Report in the British media say the UK is on standby to send war planes to the Persian Gulf. The jets would be stationed in the United Arab Emirates, just a couple of hundred km. from Iran. Britain’s Ministry of Defence says any such deployment won’t be over concerns about Iran’s nuclear programme. Anti-war activist John Rees believes it’s bound to destabilize the situation in the region.
