• Angela Merkel has warned that Germany will not back an independent Israeli attack on Iran. Now UK has come out against this coming Israeli attack.   A senior British envoy to Israel has warned the regime against a unilateral strike on Iran’s nuclear energy facilities, an Israeli daily reports. According to a report published by Haaretz on Monday September 10, the British envoy was dispatched to Tel Aviv around two weeks ago and “delivered a stern message from British Prime Minister David Cameron against an uncoordinated Israeli strike on Iran at this time.”

  The newspaper reported that the envoy met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Minister for Military Affairs Ehud Barak in order to express Britain’s fear of the prospect of a unilateral attack on Iran, insisting that there is time for diplomatic measures to work.

  Israel has repeatedly threatened to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities on the unfounded ground that Iran is seeking to weaponize its nuclear energy.
  Iran has rejected the allegations, arguing that as a committed signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), it has the right to develop and acquire nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.
