  Gen. Martin Dempsey and the Joint Chiefs are pushing back ever-harder against Obama as he intensifies his drive for thermonuclear war against Russia and China on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II. On August 20, speaking from London no less, Dempsey said that he would refuse to be “complicit” in an Israeli attack on Iran, or to take any responsibility for its results.

  In an angry response, the anglophile editors of the Wall Street Journal accused Dempsey of a bad choice of words, and demanded that he explain to them exactly what he meant by his refusal to be “complicit.”

  Now they have their answer: if Israel follows London’s orders to attack, they will be strictly on their own; the US will not join in,— unless Iran attacks US forces.

  Under the headline,  “Iran must steer clear of US interests in Gulf,” with byline Shimon Shiffer, www.ynetnews.com, owned by Israel’s biggest (Hebrew-language) daily Yedioth Ahronoth, wrote September 3: “Washington reportedly sends Tehran indirect message saying it will not back Israeli strike on nuclear facilities as long as Iran refrains from attacking American facilities in Persian Gulf.

  “The United States has indirectly informed Iran, via two European nations, that it would not back an Israeli strike against the country’s nuclear facilities, as long as Tehran refrains from attacking American interests in the Persian Gulf, Yedioth Ahronoth reported Monday.

  The story was quickly denied,— apparently with an hysterical tone,—  by the White House.“It’s incorrect. Completely incorrect,” White House spokesman Jay Carney told Reuters while accompanying President Barack Obama on a campaign trip in Ohio.
