Ted Cruz: Everyone Knows There is ‘No Chance’ Trump Will Be Convicted

• The purpose of impeachment of a President is to remove him from power. There is no legal precedent for the impeachment of a private citizen. What’s the purpose? Trump is no longer the POTUS and is a private citizen. When a private citizen commits a crime, you just report it to the police and the police, FBI, Attorney General … will investigate it and file charges. There are NO cases where the US Congress or Senate conducts an impeachment on the private citizen. It isn’t necessary.

• Of course, the facts clearly show Trump did not commit any crime. The entire impeachment exercise is total BS. Why are they doing it? Is it just a distraction from something which is happening behind the scenes ie. mis-direction. If it is it is not successful. Ratings for the entire impeachment exercise on TV bombed ie. Americans are not interested. Not entirely sure what is the true motive of the politician snakes in the District of Criminals.
