  JERUSALEM, Aug 7 (Reuters) – Rocket warning sirens sounded in northern Israel near the Lebanese border on Friday, Israel’s military said. No further details were immediately available. There were no immediate reports of any explosions and Israel Radio said the sirens were apparently a false alarm.   A red alert was activated after rocket sirens sounded in the Western Galilee region of northern Israel on Friday morning. Alerts were sounded in the communities of Abirim, Elkosh, Peki’in, Mount Meron Field School, Hurfeish, Netu’a, Fassuta, Tzvi’on and Tzuriel. The IDF is reviewing the situation.
