Israeli Warplanes Bomb Gaza Strip

    Israeli warplanes have carried out a series of fresh airstrikes across the Gaza Strip. Warplanes targeted central, southern and eastern parts of the besieged enclave. Israeli tanks also fired at Gaza earlier in the day. There was no report of any damage or casualties. Israel claims it conducted the raids in response to two rockets fired at its territory. Tel Aviv says one of the rockets was intercepted while the other one landed in Gaza. This comes a few days after the two sides agreed on a ceasefire following heavy Israeli airstrikes.
