Russia Criticizes Israel’s Airstrike as “Dangerous”

  Reactions are pouring in following Israel’s latest air attack on Syria. Russia has criticized the airstrike as a dangerous development. Iran’s Foreign Ministry has also strongly condemned what it calls Israel’s repeated violations of Syria’s sovereignty. Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi said Israel’s actions are in violation of international law and are meant to help terrorists. Qassemi added that such attacks will not be able to save the terrorists whose days are numbered in Syria. Meanwhile, Syria has warned Israel of consequences over its airstrike. Damascus said it reserves the right to retaliate such acts of aggression. Two Israeli warplanes fired eight missiles on T-4 airbase in Syria’s Homs province on Monday morning. Syria’s air defense systems intercepted five projectiles but three of them hit the base.
