- World War 3: India Retaliates Against Pakistan Attack KILLING 7 SOLDIERS as Tensions Mount

INDIA has retaliated to an attack from neighbouring Pakistan by killing troops along the Line of Control (LoC) that separates the two South Asian nations, it has been reported.

Seven Pakistani soldiers were killed and four injured in response to a conflict on Saturday that killed one Indian troop. The conflict took place along the LoC in the district of Poonch, in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Times of India also reported that the Pakistan army issued a statement saying that four soldiers were killed in the Kotli sector in the Jandrot, an area close to the LoC. The Indian army also announced that it had killed six members of the jihadi group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM).

The Director General of the police in Jammu and Kashmir, Shesh Paul Vaid, said: “We have recovered five bodies from the spot. “I think six have died, one body is being searched for. They belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammad and information was that they are suicide attackers.”

Mr Vaid detailed that the army had received reports of possible attempts by the organisation to “infiltrate” its Uri sector. He added: “In the past few days, we were getting reports about possible attempts to infiltrate the Uri sector.
