  Germany says the rising tension between the United States and Russia is more dangerous than the Cold War. In an interview with a German newspaper, Foreign Minister, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, said the reasons for a conflict between Russia and the U.S. are increasing. He stressed that the remnants of mutual trust have been exhausted between the two countries. Steinmeier also warned against a return to the days of global confrontation.
