NATO has accused Russia of repeatedly violating the ceasefire agreement in Ukraine. NATO Secretary-General, Jens Stolten-berg, expressed this concern in a news conference after a meeting on Ukraine with NATO ministers in Brussels. He claimed that Moscow is continuing to arm the separatists and urged it to withdraw its forces from Ukraine. Russia has been targeted by a series of sanctions by the US and the EU over allegations that it is arming and supporting pro-Russian forces fighting in eastern Ukraine. However, the Kremlin has strongly rejected the accusations. Later this month, EU leaders will decide on whether to extend anti-Russia sanctions.
