Russia warns that the Turkish military has been recruiting militants in Syria for the Nusra Front terrorist group. The Russian Defense Ministry says some officers of the Turkish Armed Forces are recruiting militants in Syria’s Aleppo province. The warning is based on reports received from residents of the towns of Mari’ and A’zaz. A few days ago, Russia said the Nusra terrorist group received reinforcements from Turkish territory. Based on a Defense Ministry statement, 50 militants riding several vehicles loaded with ammunition supplies, crossed the border and reached the city of Anadan near Aleppo. Russia has repeatedly said Turkey is playing a destructive role by providing passage to anti-Damascus militants and buying stolen oil from them. Ankara denies the claim.
